Fuzzy Community Service
The Member of The Fuzzy Slipper Club was having some much fun with the monthly meetings they decided they needed to help someone else. The monthly meetings relieved stress and gave the members something to look forward too.
The consenses of the members was to help women who are down on thier luck and needed a pickup. We contacted some groups and found a group called Woman's Place. The help battered women escape impossible situations and give them a chance to make a new life for themselves.
We asked them how we could help and we discovered the women who leave thier life behind leave with nothing. We developed Fuzzy Hugs. We make bags with the essentials a woman needs those first nights on her own.
Fuzzy Hug Bag
personal items, hair brush, towel and wash cloth, nail polish, deordant, perfume, Bible, and of course a bag of Hugs (every women needs a bit a chocolate when she is down)
Fuzzy Journals
The Woman's Place also offers support groups for the women who are in abusive situations and are afriad of leaving. We supply journals for these women so they can write their feelings down and have a relaese of their pent up emotions.
